Bindery · For finished audiobooks
Sell your audiobook directly. Keep 80%.
Recorded it for ACX and Audible, in a studio or at home? Upload the chapter files and your book’s own page sells it exactly as recorded — no setup fee, no monthly fee, chapter one free as the taste, and 80% of every sale is yours.
Step one: bring in your book — a Word file, PDF or EPUB · Nothing to pay until it sells
Your page. Your price. Your readers.
Bindery — the book studio inside Infinite Library — gives your book its own page that sells it, and now it sells the audiobook you already made. It doesn’t send your audiobook to Audible, Apple Books or Spotify. It is the shop you own, beside any store that already carries it.
From your folder to for sale.
Sign in and bring in your book
Sign in to Bindery free, with Google or an email code, and import the book your audiobook was read from — a Word file, PDF or EPUB. Its chapters are what your recordings are matched to.
Upload your recordings
Open the book’s Listen tab — it may sit under More — and press Upload recordings. Drop one file per chapter, or the whole folder: MP3, WAV, M4A, AIFF or FLAC, up to 2 GB a file. Each file is matched to its chapter, with its length checked against the text.
Listen, set your price, sell
Your audiobook plays at once on a private listening link, to share before anything goes on sale. Then set your price and publish: your book’s page sells it with chapter one free, and you keep 80% of every sale.
Rather we did it? Email the files to hello@infinitelibrary.ai and we load them for you, usually within two working days.
Sold as recorded. Sold by you.
Your reading. Your narrator’s credit.
Your voice, or the narrator you hired — never replaced by an AI voice. Your book’s page and the checkout say who reads it.
Nothing up front.
No setup fee and no monthly fee. Infinite Library keeps 20% of a sale only when one happens — the other 80% is yours.
The preview is the pitch.
The whole first chapter plays free on your book’s page, for anyone, with no account — and the buy button waits where it ends.
Paperback and audiobook, together.
Readers ordering your paperback add the audiobook with one tap. Every purchase comes with an invoice, and a school, library or company can put its name and tax ID on it.
A private listening link.
Hear every chapter on any phone, and share it with family or reviewers — no account, nothing to install — before anything is sold.
No app. No account.
A buyer pays once and gets a link that streams every chapter and downloads the whole book as one MP3.
Priced like human narration.
Set any price from $1.99 to $99.99 — or leave it priced by length, the way the audiobook market prices a human reading.
| Length | Price | You keep |
|---|---|---|
| Under 1 hour | $6.99 | $5.59 |
| 1 to 3 hours | $9.99 | $7.99 |
| 3 to 5 hours | $14.99 | $11.99 |
| 5 to 10 hours | $19.99 | $15.99 |
| 10 to 20 hours | $24.99 | $19.99 |
| 20 hours and up | $29.99 | $23.99 |

Exclusive with Audible? Check one thing first.
An exclusive deal — like ACX’s exclusive distribution — gives that store the sole right to sell your audiobook, so it can’t be sold here while the deal lasts.
Produced it yourself, or paid your producer up front?
ACX lets the title ask to switch to non-exclusive once it has been on sale for 90 days.
Made it with Royalty Share?
That title can’t make the switch — your narrator is paid from its sales.
A publisher or another distributor holds the audio rights?
Check that contract before you sell it anywhere yourself.
Non-exclusive, or never distributed?
Nothing to check — you can sell it here today.
ACX’s terms change, and yours depend on the agreement you signed — read it, or ask ACX, before you sell anywhere else.
Questions, answered.
Can I sell an audiobook I’ve already recorded?
Yes, exactly as recorded — read by you or by a narrator you hired, made for ACX and Audible, in a studio or at home. Bring your book into Bindery, open its Listen tab and press Upload recordings. Your book’s own page then sells it, with chapter one free as the taste, and you keep 80% of every sale.
How do I sell my audiobook directly to listeners?
Sign in to Bindery free and import the book your audiobook was read from — a Word file, PDF or EPUB. Open its Listen tab (it may sit under More), press Upload recordings and drop the chapter files or the whole folder; each file is matched to its chapter. Then hear it on a private listening link, set your price and publish your book’s page, which sells the audiobook from then on.
What does it cost, and what do I keep?
There is no setup fee and no monthly fee — uploading and selling cost nothing. When a listener buys, you keep 80% of the price and Infinite Library keeps 20%: $11.99 of a $14.99 audiobook is yours. Your share is paid to your Stripe account, or by PayPal in the first week of each month in countries Stripe can’t pay out to.
How is my audiobook priced?
You set the price — anything from $1.99 to $99.99. Until you do, it is priced by length, the way the market prices human narration: $6.99 under an hour, $9.99 under three hours, $14.99 under five, $19.99 under ten, $24.99 under twenty, and $29.99 from twenty hours up.
My audiobook is exclusive to Audible through ACX. Can I sell it here too?
Not while it is exclusive: that agreement gives Audible the exclusive right to sell it. ACX lets a title you produced yourself, or paid a producer for up front, ask to switch to non-exclusive once it has been on sale for 90 days; a Royalty Share title, where your narrator is paid from its sales, can’t make that switch. Terms change and yours depend on the agreement you signed, so check it before you sell anywhere else. A non-exclusive audiobook, or one never distributed, can be sold here today.
What audio files can I upload?
One file per chapter, or the whole folder at once: MP3, WAV, M4A, AIFF or FLAC — the MP3s you delivered to ACX, or the masters straight from the studio — up to 2 GB a file. Each file is matched to its chapter for you to check, with its length compared to the chapter’s text, and a big upload picks up where it stopped if your connection drops. A file you don’t need, like a retail sample, can be set to Not used, and a chapter you didn’t record, like a title page, can be marked as not in the recording.
Can I hear it before it goes on sale?
Yes. What you upload plays at once in the studio and on a private listening link you can share with family or reviewers — no account or app needed to listen. Nothing is sold until every chapter is in and your book’s page is published.
What do listeners get?
Anyone can hear chapter one free on your book’s page, with no account. A buyer pays once — no account, no app — and gets a link, on the confirmation page and by email, that streams every chapter and downloads the whole book as one MP3.
Can readers buy the paperback and the audiobook together?
Yes. Readers ordering your paperback from your book’s page can add the audiobook with one tap, in the same checkout.
Can a school, library or company buy it with an invoice?
Yes. Every purchase comes with an invoice, and at checkout a buyer can add their organisation’s name and tax ID to it.
Does this put my audiobook on Audible, Apple Books or Spotify?
No — it isn’t a distributor. It sells your audiobook from your own book’s page, straight to your readers, alongside any store that already carries it, as far as your agreements allow.
Would you rather we loaded it for you?
Email the chapter files, or a Dropbox, Google Drive or WeTransfer link, to hello@infinitelibrary.ai and we’ll load them into your book for you, usually within two working days.
