If they order the printed book by the date for their country, yes: the timeline on this page lists each one — in the US it is the end of November with standard shipping, or early December with rush delivery. The dates come from the printer’s own delivery estimates plus a safety margin. After that, the gift itself can still arrive on Christmas morning, and the book follows when they finish.
As long as they like. The interview is built to finish a chapter every sitting, so a life story can come together in a few sittings — or a chapter at a time over months, since nothing expires. Once they order, delivery typically takes one to three weeks, depending on the country and the shipping.
