What you can do in the app

The app has four tabs. Three of them are the reading side of Infinite Library; the fourth opens the studio.

Explore

The whole public library, browsable by shelf and searchable, with a native reader in paper, sepia, or night.

Listen

Streams albums and audiobook samples, and redeems purchased listening links.

Bindery

The studio’s front door, with the live editor chat — and, on iPad, the typeset proof beside it.

Account

Your orders, earnings, referrals, credits, and notifications.

Reading. The public library has more than 2,000 books, all free to read — the same library as The Library on the web.

Listening. Audiobooks are narrated by one of three house narrators or by the author’s own cloned voice, in 74 languages; the first chapter of an audiobook plays free on the book’s page. More on the audiobook page.

Writing. The Bindery tab is the studio’s front door. Bindery is Infinite Library’s Claude-powered book studio: describe a book, or bring a Word, PDF, or EPUB manuscript, notes, transcripts, or YouTube links, and Claude writes it, typesets it, designs the cover, and produces printer-validated PDFs. Whole editions in 110 languages, screenplays, and albums come from the same manuscript. See what Bindery is.

Printing. Any Bindery book can be ordered as a hardcover, paperback, lie-flat coil, or saddle-stitched copy — 21 print presets, printed on demand by Lulu — with the full quote for printing and shipping shown before you pay. No membership is needed to print, and your orders live in the Account tab.

How the app and the web studio fit together

  • One account. Sign in with the same email and a six-digit code on either; a guest book folds into your account at sign-in.
  • The studio is on the web; the app opens it. Bindery runs at bindery.infinitelibrary.ai. The app’s Bindery tab is its front door, and on iPad the typeset proof sits beside the editor chat.
  • Free to start on both. Bindery gives 200 AI credits with no account and 800 credits a month signed in; watermarked proofs are always free.
  • Purchases follow the store you buy in. Memberships, credits, and the file unlock bought in the app are billed by Apple through the App Store, and App Store refunds are requested from Apple. Plans bought with a card on the web are billed by Infinite Library. A membership bought on either is active on the other — tap Restore purchases in the app if it does not show — and you hold one membership, never both.
  • Links open in the app. Once the app is installed, links to a book’s read page (infinitelibrary.ai/read/…) and to the library (infinitelibrary.ai/explore) open in the app instead of the browser.

Questions about the app

Is there an app?

Yes — Infinite Library: AI Book Maker, for iPhone and iPad on the App Store. Explore is the whole public library, browsable by shelf and searchable, with a native reader in paper, sepia, or night; Listen streams albums and audiobook samples and redeems purchased listening links; the Bindery tab is the studio’s front door, with the live editor chat and the typeset proof beside it on iPad; Account holds your orders, earnings, referrals, credits, and notifications. It is the same account as the web — sign in with the same email and a six-digit code — and a guest book folds into your account at sign-in.

How do purchases work in the app?

Memberships, credits, and the file unlock bought in the app go through the App Store, so Apple bills you: subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel in your Apple Account settings at least 24 hours before the period ends, and App Store refunds are requested from Apple. A membership bought on your phone is active on the web the next time the page loads, and vice versa; if it doesn’t show, tap Restore purchases in the app. Plans bought with a card on the web are billed by Infinite Library and managed on your account page — you hold one membership, never both.

What devices and browsers does it work on?

Bindery is a web app — nothing to install — and works in any modern browser on a desktop, tablet, or phone (on a phone the proof toolbar shows icons instead of labels). You can pin it like an app: Chrome and Edge offer a one-click install, Safari on a Mac uses File ▸ Add to Dock, and Safari on iPhone or iPad uses Share ▸ Add to Home Screen. For reading and listening there is also the Infinite Library app for iPhone and iPad on the App Store, which includes the studio’s front door.

I purchased via Apple/Google. Who handles refunds?

Apple. Purchases made through the App Store are billed by Apple, so refunds are requested from Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com (Google Play handles its own older purchases the same way). Contact us if you’d like step-by-step help — and if a store purchase hasn’t shown up in your account, tap Restore purchases in the app first.
